What is Micro-Channeling?
Micro channeling uses the newest techniques in serum induction and collegan production. Using small specifically targeted implants of serum deep into the dermal layer with a micro channel device leads to increase cellular regeneration, reduction of fine lines and increased smoothness and youth of the skin. There is very little down time and typcially a few sessions creates the results.
How long does the procedure take?
This depends on the area being treated and what our goal is. We will determine that on the consultation together. Typical sessions run around 1-1.5 hour per session with pre numbing time.
Is the procedure painful?
Most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. Topical anesthetics are often applied to numb the area beforehand to ensure maximum comfort.
How long does it take to heal, and what is the aftercare like?
Healing time varies depending upon the level of change desired. Usually there is little down time at all maybe a day or two of redness and some micro peeling we use hydration after and let the skin works its magic. The skin responds and remodels itself we just have to keep it hydrated during this time.
Are there any risks or side effects?
While complications are rare, risks include allergic reactions, infection, and dissatisfaction with the results. It's crucial to choose a qualified and experienced practitioner to minimize these risks.
